I am now running Saturday and Sunday Workshops. There are two workshops; a beginners and advanced. The courses will run from 10am until 3pm and will include all materials used* and a light lunch. My website covers all the techniques I teach and will give you an idea of what you could achieve.
For the beginners workshop I will introduce you to a variety of exercises including: Distressing, Antiquing, Dry Brushing, Stenciling, Crackle Glaze and Decoupage. We will experiment on boards to give you an idea on how to achieve these techniques using different mediums including chalk paints, milk paints and clay paints. The aim will be to take an item home with you that you have up-cycled.
For the advanced course you will have been asked to bring an item of small furniture with you. An ideal piece to bring would be anything from a framed mirror to a wooden chair or small wooden table. If you have taken the beginners course you will be familiar in principle with the techniques of paint affects so it’s now time to apply one of these techniques to your piece of furniture.
I also run mobile workshops. Whether it’s in your house, village hall or a school, I can set up and show how to apply different paint affects furniture shown on my website. I have run workshops for kids parties as well as grown-ups. I can customise the workshop to suit the clients needs. Cost of this workshop will depend on clients requirement and number of people.

I am an independent company and like to use different mediums when painting that are VOC free and include Claypaint, chalk paints and milk paints, lacquers and waxes. They are all water based and environmentally friendly.
